Kirors were established under the HealthRight-run Empower Her Program in West Pokot, Kabichbich Location. Some of the achievements under this program include;

• Establishment of three “KIROS”, (Maternity Waiting Homes), to address pregnancy complications and improve maternal health outcomes.
• Integrating the World Health Organization’s Self Help Plus (SH+) “Doing What Matters in Times of Stress” (DWMITS) framework.
• Training of 14 Community Health Promoter (CHPs), 2 Community Health Extension Workers (CHEWs), 2 CBO’s representatives and 1 SCHMT on DWMITS & Birth Decks.
• Engaging 26 stakeholders in the study & reached 224 people directly.
• Sensitized 84 women on the study intervention
