Country Director’s End-Year Message
2025 is a year that came with many opportunities as well as challenges affecting mankind. As an organization, we were at the forefront working with different partners to enhance access to quality healthcare to the communities we serve. In the midst of the challenges, we continued to work with our stakeholders to seek for solution to solve them. We thank the government, universities, staff and communities that we served. Our success wouldn’t have been possible without our donors who supported our work in 2025.
We also ran a great campaign which focused on Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Mental Health across Institutions of Higher Learning leading to the Launch of the Minds in Motion (MiM) Initiative. This initiative is focusing on shifting the need around research, implementation and policy influence for mental health around students in higher learning institutions and young people out of school.
We also celebrated our 20th Anniversary during which we marked the efforts and achievements of reaching out to more than four million Kenyans with different interventions around Reproductive, Maternal, Neonatal and Child Healthcare, HiV& AIDs, Mental Health and GBV. We are therefore very happy as we draw towards the close of this year and continue to ask for greater partnerships from the teams we worked with this year. I hope this period will be one to renew, fresh and reflect on the challenges, opportunities and wins we had together and come back in 2026 ready for more partnerships and solutions.
Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy 2026. Thank You.
